Couple grand less than what local builders here charge for a similar sized building. Of course you need to buy shingles and paint it. Also need a base for it.
So I'm a reasonably handy (but not pro) guy who built a Costco shed, ask me anything.
Additional cost for my build:
-PT 4x4s and rebar, lanscape paper, crushed stone for foundation. Compacted with HD rental compactor
-Framing nailer and nails (you can do this with a hammer, but its well worth the price for speed and comfort)
-PT 12' 4x4s for Skids.
-12' 2x4s for headers and footers, it will come with 8'.
-around 6 2x4s to replace broken or twisted wood.
-Exterior liquid nails for all seams and anywhere you're attaching wood.
-tar paper, drip guard, and shingles, coil nails and nailer rental
-Lattice and trim on base as an animal guard.
-Primer and paint, caulk
-Solar panel and LED light for interior
I did it over the course of 4 weekends myself, but 4 people could probably get it up in a long weekend. Consider adding studs anywhere it looks like they cheaped out. Ideally convert from 24" to 16".
