24.5" scale length.

24.75 is the Gibson standard, with 25" being the PRS standard. This is a shorter scale than most would be used to.
I purchased a "used" guitar from PAS that was basically brand new for about 25% off the new price. Would do it again for sure.

I do not need this, but the SE245 is being discontinued with the SE594 line being released, so…
That's a good price for a new one- used they sell for around $500. Not gonna buy one because the family has instituted a musical purchase moratorium on me, but thanks, OP.

Nice find, thanks for posting Op. I only bought one guitar from this vendor and it was a perfect transaction. FWIW, I would recommend.

Just bought a PRS Mark Holcomb Signature from them. Transaction went well and guitar is flawless.

You really can't go wrong with a PRS. Quality even on the SE's is first rate.

I'd put the SE line on par with a Gibson studio as far as playability. Love mine (24 custom SE)

Same boat as @tlite. Picked up a PRS when I was transitioning out of my starter-Squire and became a huge fan of their stuff. Great tone, solid feel, etc. Then I started window-shopping for a PRS semi-hollow recently and the fam said no as we have "enough" guitars in the house.

Enough.

Ha!

That said, if you're looking for a wonderful guitar that punches well above its weight and has legs to take you beyond beginner level, this PRS is a great choice at a slick price.

Everyone at my church plays a PRS so I was set to get one. Played a bunch of guitars at the store and wound up with a Gretsch. Tone is great and the neck feels better to me.

Would still like to get a PRS at some point, they sound awesome.

24.5" is closer to the Gibson scale length than these numbers would suggest. Gibson guitars are often listed at 24.75" but in reality the scale lengths they manufacture are most commonly 24 9/16" or 24 5/8".

I own one of these 245s and I would describe the difference in scale length vs. a Gibson as "negligible". This is a good price on a well-made guitar. I paid $500 used for mine.
