For those who want Platinum and not the basic service offered in the 3 year/$99 deal, I was able to get Platinum for 3 years for $149.00. It came out to $180.89 with fees. This was on a 2020 car that I just got used. I asked for the 3/$99 deal and was offered this instead, which given that I like sports and Howard was probably a better deal for me anyway.

I have a 2019 car, and chat support told me the "3 years for $99" only applies to 2014 and older cars. Then I called, and a phone agent told me the same offer only applies to 2011 and older cars! What gives? I wonder how/why your 2020 car was eligible. I've tried over and over throughout the years to get this deal, to no avail.

For what it's worth, I have a 2022 Honda. While my account was still active last month under the $5 monthly promo I tried to get this deal through chat at least three different times and was shot down, saying I didn't qualify and my car with too new, etc., etc.etc.

I finally told them to cancel my account to see if that changed my luck at all. After a few more last ditch attempts to keep me, I didn't bite and said no please cancel my account.

My account finally expired and service stopped on Thursday, April 6th. The next day I got on chat again and told them I would only reactivate my account under the $99 three year promo. The first agent gave me the same lines as previous but then I tried a second time right after I ended the chat with the first agent. The second person on chat immediately gave me the $99 offer without me having to beg. I was in and out of that chat for less than five minutes and now I'm happily on the $99 three year plan.

I guess the moral of the story is to keep trying and be persistent and sooner or later you'll get a helpful agent either through chat or by phone. It depends how badly you want it and how much time you're willing to invest

Total $127.50 with taxes and fees.

Use yesterday (June 13, 2023) and paid $149.00 for the 3 years SiriusXM Platinum plan. I called Sirius XM and told them I received this offer in an email and they asked when I received the offer and I said May 29, 2023. SiriusXM asked me for my radio number and after seeing that I am a subscriber they honor the promotional rate. There is another offer for 3 year / $99.00, which doesn't include the two Howard Stern channel. After tax and royalty fees the total came out to $180.79. I'm so glad I don't have to haggle with them every year to get a great deal. Thank you Slickdeals.com and SiriusXM.

Confirmed deal still alive as of today (2023-07-. I have a 2014 Escape which enabled me to get the 3 years / $149 + fees for Platinum service. They would not add it to my 2021 Acura or any other car.

Deal is still alive as of 7/16/2023. I am an active customer that was in their final month of a platinum plan. I requested 3 years of platinum at $149. They honored it. They charged me same day (roughly 25 days before end of current promotion). They gave me a small, pro-rated credit. Total was $175.70 with taxes and fees. Verified it shows my subscription at platinum through July 2026. I did not have to go through any hoops. Very first agent assisted with no pushback. In and out of chat in under 10 minutes. Thank you!

These CSR agents probably get dinged for not making sales. Some of them probably realized that no supervisors are checking VINs to verify car mfg date, so just make the sale and keep going.

I'm trying to get this promotion on my account. Struck out the first time. Second time started off promising, but the agent wants to see a picture of the offer... Can anyone share a screenshot of this email promotion?

Disregard. Took three attempts, but the third time was the charm. Also took the threat of honoring the offer or I'll cancel...
