To add to that AMD mentioned that to their shareholders. Then decided to intentionally slow down production simply to keep prices high.

They were ok with price gouging before so hold the damn line 💪

The MSI 6950xt went on sale for $580 a few weeks ago, how is the sale price for the 6900xt also $580? The sale should be $560 imo.

No. 7000 series released 5 months ago. There is more supply than meets demand which is why all the graphics cards are being discounted. Also lets not forget that since the epidemic all the prices have been way too high already. This is really just starting to get back to normalcy.

No, recession is full speed ahead. Low demand from corporations and individuals being laid off.

This is also what oil companies do.. reduce supply to keep demand and priced high. If only we could hold the line with them as well.

I've read somewhere that amd 6000 chips are cracking
That was late last year, and found to be only used cards that were stored in high humidity environments and then loaded heavily. The moisture and heat loading was causing the cracking, not a defect. All were found to have been bought on eBay, all were reference designs, all suspected from the same crypto company improperly storing the cards.

Why invest in something with an uncertain future?
Thank the politicians for further creating the instability

LOL... people have been saying since start of LAST year that a recession is coming, and still nothing yet. I mean a recession might still come, but no one can predict when and how severe it will be. Job market is still strong and Fed said they'll will ease off on interest rate hikes for rest of year. Also housing market is still quite strong overall.
