Purchased this TV around Super Bowl and I'm very very happy with the purchase. I have an OLED 77" as well and although OLED has a superior picture, the pure size of this TV makes the viewing experience incomparable. Watching NBA playoffs on this has been amazing and streaming 4K movies is wonderful.

I jumped on the last Sony OLED deal from Secondipity. I got the 83" A90J for $2399 and my brother got the 77" A80J for $1439. Both are phenomenal TVs and much better PQ than any LED/QLED.

For far less than this TV, I have OLED quality and a large enough size for my 15x15' family room.

A 98" tv's square footage is actually 50% larger than an 85". An 85" tv's square footage is 33% smaller than a 98".

Within a few years TVs this size will be going for $2499. I really want one, but will have to do with my Epson 4K projector and 120" screen for now. Wife would neuter me before I ever got the box in the house

Except during the day in a well lit room. The QN90 series as well as most qleds will have a much better picture in that room.

I can't imagine this upscales 720p and 1080i sports broadcasts well at all. If you're considering, just plan to watch streaming/pre recorded non cable tv content almost exclusively.
