I would opt for the Home Depot Rigid model.
I believe the specs are mostly equivalent and the Rigid has a lifetime warranty if you register.
I had a different model Kobalt die right after the 2 year warranty.

Ridgid LSA is technically not a warranty but it is very similar to a warranty. You just need to make sure you register the product within 90 days of purchase.

Kobalt brand stuff has been a hit and a miss lately for me. My recommendation is to only buy Kobalt stuff that doesn't need to be assembled/comes apart.
