I bought this when there was a student discount (for about $450 I believe).
I am happy with the purchase so far.
One thing I liked about it is, If you take the battery out, the bike doesn't feel heavy at all. (This is important because I was planning on using the battery only when needed).
And also, this bike feels tall. I am 5'10" and I kept the seat in the lowest position.

PSA: most bikes(specifically electric bikes) posts here are promoted heavily...just keep that in mind.
reason: ebikes under $1000 are garbage (usually)...so companies pay sites like slickdeals to promote/shill their garbage.
they don't give anymore info other than its a 36v battery? find the spec of the battery and its true top speed (not treadmill tests)...you don't want to be stuck with a ~$700 junk. they make it very hard for you to return these
Depends on what you need. Note: The Huffy is a single speed and will be difficult pedaling up steep inclines in order to assist the motor. Probably sufficient on flat ground and not much more. I have a 21 speed e-bike and regularly have to get into the lower gears to make it up hills. It's also nice to have that oprion when just riding around town and saving the battery. I wouldn't be able to say the same for a single speed.
Looks like the Everett is $400 before taxes.
I just wish I could get something in a 24 in or larger wheel size, but with slightly wider tires. They don't need to be 2 inches thick. Just your standard bicycle width tires, so that I can take drive through the dirt roads near me.
I want to buy a moutain bike , which model is great for 170 cm male rider ? not more than 200 $
Kent and Schwinn brand offers some okay options for older mountain bike trails and fire roads. Both Kent and Schwinn you have to completely reassemble and re-grease everything. Newer trails are too technical for cheaper bikes unfortunately.

I am in the same shoe. Got two questions, how do you protect the metal connector when you remove the battery? Where do you store this bike? I currently store it outdoor but afraid the summer heat will pop the battery.
Also, I am pretty satisfied with this purchase. I've been pedaling around for the short commute. Not using the battery much, but when I am feeling lazy it helps a lot.
I'm seriously thinking about getting the Everett + Men's 27.5" Electric Comfort Bike, Black, 36V
Please tell me why I shouldn't? $325 and free shipping. 2 year warranty sounds good. The terrain in my area is almost all flat so no serious hills. I will only be using this on sidewalks and maybe well maintained trails. The price is right and I'm not expecting the world. What about battery replacement down the road?
