Never had any issues with VIPoutlet. They seem to sell items returned to Walmarts. If you were able to grab one congrats, they are usually pretty good about condition as well.

Its a legit site. They sell walmart returns and might even be owned by them. Bought quite a few things from them the past.

Also bought from them before with no problems. They also operate a large ebay store with 97.3% positive rating (https://www.ebay.com/str/vipoutlet).

At this price using Paypal, the risk is worth it IMO.

they also cell AUA model of the same C2 48" tv for 1,049.. AUA models will be warehouse stock (Costco, etc.) interesting why was such a difference in price?

The only concern is how many times the TV has been hauled back and forth and WHO was shipping the item. 9/10 times when something happens the item is originally in good condition but gets rekt during transport.
