The plastic crocs will shrink and stiffen. I had them and had to threw them away after one year.

I never attempted to repair them when they break. I've had really great experience with Sperry's customer service sending replacements though! I haven't tried out Rainbows yet but I know someone people swear by the lifetime warranty (for certain models).
