The $599 version has been on sale at WOOT for the same price for awhile.

https://sellout.woot.com/offers/m...cat_pc_7_2

The $449 version doesn't have LTE.

Yep, I bought the Woot deal. Ended up returning it because SQ2 doesn't run drop box natively. Ended up getting a SP8 I7 16GM ram 512GB HDD with the keyboard and pen 2 for 1277 from costco, which comes with an extra years warranty. Not a bad price for that.

It's an ARM-based chip - similarly to how Apple introduced their M1 and M2 ARM-based Macbooks.

Wish deals for the Duo 2 would pop up as much as these Arm Surface tablets do...

I'm hoping some foldables come out of the $2K stratosphere sooner rather than later. Pixel going foldable should help app support too

Dropping in to say that I owned this for little over a week and returned it because the emulation of non-ARM compatible application does in fact make everything feel a bit laggy, even programs that do not demand a lot. At this price, $599 is decent for a tablet with 16GB and 512GB with LTE to boot... just try to stick with ARM compatible apps. I would honestly recommend grabbing a Surface Pro 8 which is very close to the same price at this point.

Processor is crap. There's a reason why you keep seeing these on sale. They're trying to offload bad stock.

Spring for the i5 processor. Trust me.

The $599 one does NOT mention 4G connectivity anywhere in the spec sheet, and everywhere else there's an (optional) behind it...

Also clearly states "Service: Wi-Fi Only"...

That's very interesting. When I looked at this the first time, it definitely had LTE in the specifications. They have changed the listing. So I guess I was partially right in saying the WOOT deal was better.

Now WOOT has the 256GB SSD version with LTE for $529.
