I also own this speaker, (Motion Boom Plus) I bought it to play my Little League team's intro songs and it does great! Gets plenty loud and has very good audio quality. The speaker being fully waterproof is also a great help since it gets dusty super fast while at the baseball fields. Just hose it off and continue on with my day. Battery life is excellent and we can go an extremely long time without having to recharge it. Originally I had purchased the LG "Xboom 550W" model that was also on slick deals a couple of weeks ago. This speaker gets louder and sounds better, and somehow has more bass... than that LG speaker while also being less than half the size of that LG speaker, not to mention includes a battery.

I do own a few other portable speakers from the likes of LG, Klipsch, JBL, Aukey etc and this is my go to for all of this since its cheap compared to those other speakers and it sounds great too IMHO. This speaker is going to go with me on my fishing trip at the end of the month since then I won't have to worry about getting salt water on my expensive JBL I would previously take.

I'm not a huge fan of the huge handle at the top, while it does make it easy to carry it also makes it a weird shape to throw in the car with the rest of the stuff back there.

Outside of the handle I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a good speaker to carry around.

I have the motion boom+, paid $153 for it about a month ago when they had another discount. GREAT speaker! It gets very loud and has great bass.

I don't own any Anker speakers, but I know that this brand currently has the #1 best selling BT speaker on Amazon with over 90,000 ratings averaging 4.7 out of 5 on reviews, so I'd say it speaks pretty highly to the brand/ value...
