The game has cross platform play (with PC afaik, I play on PS5) and this game is very much NOT dead.
It's a great game at this price. Not perfect, but being able to play online very easily and with a consistent player base, so far, always keeps me coming back for more.
Pro tip: shut off ALL of the in game dialogue and subtitles, turn off the in game soundtrack and load up Spotify and enjoy!
