That's what you do with anything non-stick.

Clad stainless, cast iron, or carbon steel tho last a lifetime.

Spend $70 on one of these all-clad and youll use it for literal decades.

This sale has become a more frequent occurrence but I cannot remember ever seeing this much selection, including some G5 pieces and what feels like practically the whole D3 and D5 lines. If you see what you like, move fast.

I highly recommend the Steamer Insert [homeandcooksales.com] which is one of the most used pieces of my collection. It is a steal for $25.50 and has not been available for the last several sales.

As always, check out theAll-Clad Pots & Pans sticky thread for frequently asked questions about this sale and these pans, including the difference between D3, D3 Everyday, BD5, SD5, G5, etc. I started that thread because this sale comes around so frequently. Suggestions on improving it welcome.

Prices were better last time in April. I'll wait for a major event/sale.
3-qt sauté pan w/lid is $102. Same 3-qt sauté pan was $85 last time.

I got a d3 "packaging damage" 7 pc set for $245. Buying the peices individually on the site would be $420 less 15%. New first quality on Amazon it's $500. I've been looking for a while and unless I'm missing something that pretty cheap.

What do you make with the steamer?

The holes look a bit too small. A few reviews mention "The holes are too small and don't go all the way to the edge so the water pools in the insert"

Only upside is that it's probably all-clad-thick lol.. But not like you need a thick metal steamer unless you like that "high quality feel" when you lift it I suppose.

If you are continuously buying expensive pans, you are doing it wrong. Take care of your stuff and save your money. Quantity over quality in these situations

he a little confused, but he got the spirit.......... "quality over quantity".

If it's not for y'all, I'd raise my eyebrows so much when looking at the website. It's full of typos and looks very sketchy lol.

They are legit. I've ordered a couple pans from here...... but yeah, the email that has exposed code looks sketchy AF...

I'll admit I have the old design steamer basket with the flat bottom but damn I love it, and this one has the big handle which makes handling even easier.
Still with this design water shouldn't pool unless you use too much water.

Anything you'd steam? Vegetables, dumplings, fish, shellfish, leeks, gentle reheating...
It doesn't stream better than any other steamer but compared to your typical sterner basket it's a joy to handle and clean. It just makes it easy.

Good call out. I guess I was still half asleep. In my mind I had it right but my eyes didn't catch the mix up.

I ordered these Cookcraft instead:

https://slickdeals.net/f/16628786-cookcraft-3-ply-cookware-12-dual-handle-casserole-24-95-more-free-shipping?v=1

However, they are all sold out of the 4 / 8 (counting glass lids) piece sets.

There were new (received yesterday), 18/10 SS, very heavy, welded not riveted and appeared to be quality items albeit made in China. I got a 8 pc set with 8 qt pot for less or about the same as ONE of these "All-Clad".

Pulled the trigger on 4 D3 pieces for my new induction range. I've been waiting for a sale to pop up.

3 pieces, with lids, for $225. I suppose that's a deal and much needed to replace 3 of my 15 year old Calphalon non-stick.

My coworker has been trying to get me to buy an All-Clad pan for years. I finally caved and bought the 10" and 12" with lids. I also grabbed the stainless 15" oval roaster and the outdoor roaster tray for the grill. I like using non stick pans for most cooking. There are some foods, like searing a steak, that a stainless pan is great for. I have used cast iron for that as well but stainless is better for deglazing and making a sauce with. Hopefully these All-Clad pans last as long as everyone says they do. I also ordered some Bar Keeper's Friend on Amazon to help keep the stainless looking like new. I have always wanted to try that cleaner and now I had a reason to order some.

I've been shopping and wanting to pull the trigger for a while working away from Nonstick. My go to was a T-fal nonstick Sauté Pan ?qt(12"x3"). Looking for best stainless workhorse, 12"ish pan or similar Sauté Pan like a 3qt w/ Lid / D3 Everyday. I have carbon steel but I want quality stainless as a lot I cook eats the seasoning. I was eyeing the Demeyere 5-Plus 11-inch Stainless Steel Skillet but slightly torn.

Been seeing these semi annual events for years now and always think about pulling the trigger. Decided to go for it. Just bought the 12" frying pan. Now the big decision: what to make first.
Don't make eggs.
These pans are nice but cooking eggs are fussy/messy
Temp too cool and eggs stick - too hot and eggs stick - eggs themselves too cool and they stick - use oil and butter and things still stick. I see even a lot of the mega cooking channels on YT are still using non stick for eggs.

I have the 12" D3 All-Clad and its nice but fussy.
I like it for meat/fish

Oh and the handle is not popular but the pros say A) use a towel B) put your thumb's side in the handles indent and not thumb face. The thumb-side-to-indent made a big difference

EGGS!
