Minisforum has the UN100 mini PC on sale for $199. It's a pre-sale, shipping starts at the end of May, so in about two weeks. The list price for the variant with 8GB RAM and the 256GB SSD is $229.
It comes with Intel's new N100 CPU which is quite efficient with a TDP of only 6W. It features 4 E-cores running at 3.40 GHz and 6MB cache.

The RAM is soldered-on LPDDR5. If you need more than 8GB, consider the 16GB variant for $229 which also comes with a larger 512GB SSD.
The SSD can be replaced later with any M.2 SATA SSD. There is also a free 2.5" slot for another SATA SSD.
The UN100 has two Gigabit LAN ports and three 4K display outputs (2x HDMI and 1x USB type C). It is suitable for network tasks or as a media center, for example.

The N95 version is cheaper still, higher TDP (15w) but otherwise very similar performance. I'd have to get an n100 to do killawatt testing but it's not a big draw.
The Beelink uses realtek for the GBE nics, and an intel wifi device. Also has space for a single 2.5 and one nvme. Memory speeds won't matter much in this performance segment, though if you are specifically getting it for doing memory-intensive work on this, it would probably be better to get one with ddr5.
