Got it from Logan, UT $1300. Should still have some in stock. Needed to contact Apple to revise purchase date to add AppleCare+.

Why not buy a MBA 15 and try them side-by-side and return (or sell off to someone who wants a good deal on a MBP16 if you go that way) the one you don't want?
Costco has the MBA15 and has literally the best and easiest returns. Plus you get an extra year warranty and 90 days to decide.

I won't open it unless and until I commit to it because (and I am not saying there is anything wrong with doing so, this is just a very personal thing) I wouldn't open and return a perfectly good product to a store just to try it out. Especially Costco.
I honestly just need to devote the time to watching a few Youtube videos or something from people who have done the comparison.
Back in the day I carried laptops around that were much thicker and much heavier than even this one. So maybe it isn't as much of a brick as I fear it might be.

That's my 2 cents worth.
BTW, I wouldn't feel guilty opening and returning the MBP16 to Costco. They will probably sell it as an open box to someone for the same or more.
