Realizing this is 14" and some people NEED a 14", if you're flexible and 15.6" is OK, then the Walmart deal for the Vivobook S 15 is still good. Same price ($749) and nearly identical specs, except Vivobook includes a 3K OLED 120Hz screen. I know some people say ZenBook is "better build" but I have the Vivobook and it's sturdy and light and works great. Love the OLED 3K 120Hz screen and great specs for $749.

EDIT: As is noted in another post, the Vivobook is NOT touchscreen.

Realizing this is 14" and some people NEED a 14", if you're flexible and 15.6" is OK, then the Walmart deal for the Vivobook S 15 is still good. Same price ($749) and nearly identical specs, except Vivobook includes a 3K OLED 120Hz screen. I know some people say ZenBook is "better build" but I have the Vivobook and it's sturdy and light and works great. Love the OLED 3K 120Hz screen and great specs for $749.

Might want to add one more "realization" to your statement that Op is touchscreen and the Vivobook is not.

Also, build quality difference is not something I would downplay. I had a Vivobook with a broken hinge within 4 months, never been dropped.

I have read some reviews about hinge on vivobook is weak compared to zenbook which tends to break easily, is it true? Thinking to go for vivobook as its perfect for me

Wow that's tempting. Glad I held out last time it came up. Trying to decide if the open box excellent is worth the risk. I haven't had issues with previous Zenbooks in the past, but might get unlucky. 15% discount is quite nice for an open box though…

Anyone have any experiences with recently released zenbooks?

What warranty do the open boxes have?

I bought one 10 years ago, paying extra to have it carefully renovated by Geek Squad. Sadly, the last owner locked it and it was unusable. Seemed odd that GS could renovate it when they couldn't turn it on.
