Panel warranty 1 yr vs 5 yr - the g2 has a heatsink that allows for better performance… and the g2 has a better build - the c2 gets very thin specially at the top of the panel which needs a little more care when handling(g2 meant to be wall mounted and c2 comes with a stand). I personally think the g2 is worth the extra $400 in the current deals.
The heat sink allows the G2 to push its brightness levels. I owned the C2 and now have the G2 and can say the G2 is noticeably brighter. Also, the G2 is the gallery series and does not come with a stand since it is meant to be mount flush to the wall using the supplied wall mount. The bezel is a bit different as well.

Other than that, everything else is pretty much the same. The C2 is a fantastic TV and I would've have kept it if it weren't for an open box G2 deal that made it cheaper than the C2.

Anyone have great calibration settings for this TV they recommend? I've had my 65" G2 for a few months now and would love to set it up better.

I've used Rtings but i think theirs is hot garbage.

Thanks

Is it starting to become dicey waiting for a 1700/1800 77" B2 deal to come along at this point?

I would consider this TV if it weren't for the fact the wall mount doesn't actually provide the ability to tilt down. Due to my living room mounting height requirements, the inability to tilt down will cause reflection off of the ceiling can lights from another room. Major bummer...

I don't think any of the OLEDs from any manufacturer offer such a tilt adjustable stand/mount out of the box?

I think he meant with the G series, it is a proprietary flush wall mount to give that gallery look so you can't tilt it down. With the A-B-C series, you can buy any standard wall mount of your choice including one that allows for tilting to reduce glare and better viewing when needed to be mounted high. I'm in the same boat as the Snewpy with a new fireplace, so went with the other posted C2 77" for $2200 instead.

Update: I own a GX 77" and honestly never even noticed the standard VESA mounting holes when it first went up. 🤦🏻 ♂️ Disregard my comment above… Maybe I should've went with the G2 deal 😢

I see, I didn't know you can't use standard wall mounts with the G series.

UPDATE: According to replies, you can use standard mounts with the G series so ignore the above.

This is exactly the deal I've been waiting for. BUT the G3 reviews are all "this is significantly better than the G2!" At $4500, is it 73% better though??

So far, I've seen no shipping to MA, CA and I'm in KS and they wont ship there either. Easy to have a sale on an item that you don't actually allow anyone to buy.
I'm in NC and i can't order it either
