Oh, and appliances, too, but they're not worth mentioning since they're so unreliable.

You could sell your S21+ for $200 in the market place.

Traded it to S22U make it $409 value vs $500 market value. So you gain about $100

Trade S22U to S23U will cost you $836 total vs $800 S23U market value.

My thought is I would go for it. I moved from Note series to S22U. I owned both S22U and S23U, I don't see the much difference in it but for the market value I would consider upgrade it for your next one.

Debating on the same. Debating on buying a cheaper used s22 ultra 128 and trading it in for the 750. Trying to sell my mint s22u 512 in titanium for more. Not sure it's worth the extra effort for the slight upgrade. Anyone find any better CB than RAK for 12%?
Decided to cancel my order. Watched a few YouTube videos showing the changes from S22U to S23U to almost nothing (slight cpu/gpu, camera, faster UFS storage), probably none of which I would be able to see a difference in. Just can't justify the hassle of buying a used phone for trade in, selling mine locally or marketplace, swapping accessories: tempered glass protector, cases, camera protectors, etc etc at $467 price tag. Maybe when prices are down further and trade in is better I may consider it.

You really only go from the S22U to the S23U for the camera. If you dont use it alot, then it is not worth the upgrade.

Yep for sure, I use the camera but just for family picutres trips etc. Nothing professional.
Just not worth the price tag and hassle.

That's totally untrue. The SoC is a major upgrade. The S22U's battery life is garbage, speaking from an S22U owner.

Looks like battery life is slightly better on S23U

I've personally not had any issues with S22U battery, last all day for me thats what I need.
Still not worth the $500 upgrade with trade in.

Lol, $165 for my S21 plus then $1000 to upgrade to S23 ultra. Think I'll pass. They used to have amazing deals.

I was able to snag an S22U yesterday so I have a couple of questions for anyone in the know:

1. How long can we expect until Samsung ships? I ordered yesterday morning and received two emails, one being a receipt and the other an order confirmation.

2. I'll be trading in my S21FE. Do I need to pay for shipping or will Samsung provide a label? On this same topic, should I send it in the original box? Are any accessories required to be included?

Thanks in advance for any input.

YMMV, I am a S22U as well and my battery lasts just fine for work. But I also have a Flip 4 and Fold 3 so compared to those, it lasts a lot longer.

But battery life is one of those things that many people would just opt for a $20 portable charger than a $500+ upgrade.

1) They usually try to ship ASAP unless they are waiting for stock to come in. The estimated ship date on your order is normally fairly accurate.

2) They will email you a label for your trade-in once your order ships. No need for original box or accessories. I would just advise you to take pictures/video of your phone (with the serial/IMEI showing on screen and maybe a paper with your order number) so you have proof of the condition you sent it in. Not really necessary and I've never had trade-in issues but always better to be safe than sorry.

Dropped and chipped my Flip 4 on the corner. I assume I won't qualify for the full trade in price, but for $305 plus the 2 cash backs, kinda tempting anyway.

I'm not seeing an estimated ship date, rather an expected delivery date, which is May 26th. I'd be curious to see if it actually takes that long.

Thanks for the input on trade-in. I had planned on recording the packing process but showing IMEI and order number is a great idea. Better safe than sorry for sure.
