It's below Sony's recommendation/requirement, but it will work. There's lots of articles and YouTube videos out there that show that all the PS5 actually requires is a PCIe4 drive. There's been some benchmarking done as well and it shows that you won't notice a difference, at least in any games the PS5 plays today.
The speed makes no real difference. I have an SN750 SE that only has a speed of 3,600. It loads and runs everything just as fast as the stock SSD. That 7,400mb/s would only load games about 1, maybe 2 seconds faster than even my SSD, because games aren't programmed to use any of that extra speed. It's like how the PS5 is powerful enough to run every PS4 game at 60fps, but still runs the vast majority of them at 30fps, because they haven't been programmed to run at the higher framerate. What the hardware is capable of doesn't matter if the software bottlenecks it.
Digital Foundry used an SSD with a speed of 3,200 and it didn't make a difference either. Not one single game uses anywhere close to the full bandwidth of these things, and they won't for the rest of this generation, because everyone over promised on what this generation was going to be capable of, just like they always do.

Yes. This is more than enough for the PS5. Sony recommends a speed of 5,500, but it doesn't make any difference. The PlayStation will just give you a one time pop-up that tells you it may not be fast enough, but it is definitely fast enough. My secondary SSD only has a speed of 3,600 and it loads and plays everything just as fast as the stock SSD.
Don't listen to anyone who tells you you have to get something faster. Even if you got one with a speed of 7,400, like another person suggested to you, this one would load just as fast as that one, because games aren't programmed to use any of that extra speed. That's not how this tech works. Just because hardware is capable of something, it doesn't mean the software is. It's like how the majority of PS4 games still run at 30fps, even though the PS5 is powerful enough to run all of them at at least 60fps.
Here's a video of Digital Foundry testing an even slower one than mine, and loads just as fast. Not a single game uses anywhere near the full bandwidth of SSDs yet, and they won't during this generation. There's no way. They overpromised on this generation's capabilities, like they always do. https://youtu.be/zWQs4UpiKlg

Yeah. Mine only has a speed of 3,600 and there is zero noticeable difference.
Ordered this and realized my computer is so old it doesn't even have a slot for this. They make an adapter or quit being lazy and buy new motherboard and processor?

There are PCI cards that will let you install nvme drives onto them. I have one in my old unraid server (3rd gen i7).
