The title and picture matches together. I believe the features listed in the woot description are incorrect when it says 27.5" wheels, twist shifters, steel frame, etc.. I think that was a cut and paste description of various Schwinn high timber bikes on Amazon. The steel frame model with 27.5" wheels is completely different looking high timber model. It is also an 18" aluminum frame and not 16" frame.

It is clearly a 29er from the pictures and the stated specs. Black/Green is 29er. Yellow/Black is 27.5" wheel model.

I wasted the first two weeks trying to get the derailleurs set properly, no matter how I adjusted it I always had issues shifting either up or down, or would finally get that working and then randomly have the high limit just not function anymore and jump the chain off. Decided screw it, ordered SRAM shifter and derailleur (plus bottom end/crankarms) to convert to a 1x10, that is when I learned this is a freewheel bike.. so another $50 for a hub and got to learn how to spoke and true a wheel, which honestly was a lot easier than expected. Now its shifting like a dream and I'm happy again, at least until the first time I went on a long ride waiting for the brakes to bed in, but they never do... keep adjusting them, still mush and can't lock up a wheel, clean everything and no change... so next on the list is to replace those. Been looking at parts and decided a dropper seatpost would be be neat, where I learn this bike has the uncommon 27.2mm diameter stem. The tires are very prone to punctures, I've had a flat nearly every time I've ridden the bike due to stickers, but my kids $100 walmart bikes never have any problems. Tires will be the next upgrade... I'll very soon have little more than the frame left from this bike.
So to come clean here, my wife actually wanted the bike, I saw the good deal and bought this for her, but she is 5'10" and this ended up being too big for her as its a large (19") frame, but it fits me fine at 6'2". So while dealing with this shitshow of a bike I was still shopping for a bike for her, I took too long to find something and against my "better judgement" she went to Walmart and bought a medium (17") frame Ozark Trail Ridge for $400. Its already a 1x9 freehub bike, 31.5mm seatpost, tapered headstock, realllllly nice internal routing and the brakes are way better than the Schwinns. Hands down worth spending double to get a bike that functions rather than saving the money now only to drop $500 upgrading everything to make it usable.

I just bought this bike a few months ago, paid $230 thinking I was getting a killer deal as its usually $450+ on Amazon... Been a long time since I've ridden a bike and wanted something decent to get back into it, now that I've gotten a crash course on bike features and current quality levels I can confidentially say this bike is a royal POS... Probably worth $200, but expect it to be a $200 bike, its not like you are getting a great deal on it.

Wow lacing up a new hub is dedication. Now that you have all those skills I would look into a better bike that is worth the upgrades. Even something like the Schwin Axum can be upgraded pretty seriously but it decent out of the box.

This model is only available 29" wheel frame size though. They don't make this in 27.5" wheel size. It doesn't say 24" wheel size. It states 24" frame but it is actually 18" frame. If people want to get the exact size and components, go to the website or go to Amazon and make sure to click the correct bike out of all the various high timber bikes. Various high timber bikes have different frame sizes, wheel sizes, etc.

Thank you so much for the clarification! That makes a lot of sense! I was so confused!
