Compared with the previous model available since 2021[lenovo.com], it seems that there is not much improvement in terms of the speed, except faster RAM, USB ports and WiFi connection
A moderate upgrade from older Kompanio 500 (MTK 8183, 8C, 4x A73 @2.0GHz + 4x A53 @2.0GHz) to Kompanio 520 (MTK 8186, 8C, 2x A76 @2.05GHz + 6x A55 @2.0GHz)
A big disappointment for not having 8GB RAM, even this is a Chromebook
Slow 64GB eMMC storage but no room for SSD upgrade

One of the bigger changes is actually the display. It wasn't 100% sRGB before, which this one covers.
You'd be hard pressed to find a chromebook at this price with such a screen.
4GB soldered RAM is indeed a bummer, but for chrome OS it's still 'just' acceptable.

Yes, the display is upgraded, But that makes it nothing more than a media consumption device.
When this drops below $140 sometime later, may worth a try.
I actually own that older MT8183 model (same CPU of Amazon Fire HD 10), mainly for streaming and very very light cloud-based document works. Checking email and web-browsing with few tabs are just fine. It's quite painful to work with a larger spreadsheet. However, the battery life is great (which is usually not offered by x86/x64 machines). So I am still keeping it...

I see.
Thank you for providing your input. It's a good device, let's hope it gets cheaper.
Don't buy the Lenovo - at 4GB memory and 64GB storage - even at $219 it's a mediocre deal at best.
Instead, get this used Acer Spin 713 on eBay for less than $200. Much better specs (8GB mem, 128 GB storage, i3 10th gen CPU) and a solid, quality built. https://www.ebay.com/itm/314507929049

FWIW I just ordered one myself.
LOL...not even close. Used, no warranty,,.per the listing "NO CHARGER INCLUDED," "KEYBOARD LAYOUT IS BRITISH" (might be the same as an American keyboard but if so really strange to mention). Also since it sounds like model from the UK support might be an issue.
'Just buy this thing that is completely different and high risk to save $20!'
Good luck with your unit but the rest of us will probably steer clear.
