Pretty sure this is the same PC I bought a few weeks ago for $265 however was a refurb...(mine at least) was indistinguishable from new.

https://slickdeals.net/f/16618817-lenovo-ideapad-flex-5-laptop-refurb-i3-1215u-14-ips-touch-8gb-ram-256gb-ssd-264-60-free-shipping

Oddly ships with a barrel charger but charges just fine using USB C so I do not understand why they wasted money having both ports.

Performance wise I can run Far Cry 5 at low settings, most any game older / less demanding than that should be GTG as well. A 'Far Cry' beyond the Dead Horse comment of "good enough for email and internet only." Really, mindlessly repeating this nonsense 80 times a day is not helpful.

See previous thread on the refurb sale here

I bought one of those refurbs. This one from Costco isn't a refurb, so it shouldn't have all of the issues I had with mine, but...

The hinges on this really worry me. Do a google image search for "lenovo flex hinges broken" and witness the horror.

The screen on mine is relatively heavy and the hinges barely keep it upright. At the same time, if they were tighter, I worry they might break the plastic body.

Screen color is bland and it's dark. Good for indoor office work but I wouldn't want to use it all the time.

The CPU and performance is pretty good. Not having WiFi6/AX is retarded.

The keyboard is shallow and feels bad to type on. No keyboard back light.

Would I buy at $350? Probably not. It's a $300 laptop at best.

Nice to see 8 GB RAM on a laptop with an i3. Processor performance in at least one benchmark increased by ~80% between 11th- and 12th-gen. Any 4 GB i3 1215U laptop is an absolute crime against preventing e-waste.

Though not having the product myself, most of these like seem fair criticisms. But I think you under appreciate the processor: it's benchmarking faster than an 11th-gen i5. And I assert that lacking WiFi 6 is almost a complete non-issue.

It blows away the CPU it was intended to replace, the i3-1115G4.

For me, this is a no-go because a lighted keyboard is a must.

Lenovo... No Way
I had a similar one, the hinge has broken within no time. Lenovo fixed it for free but, its not worth going through that hassle.

Take a look at $88-150 Dell 729xx , 73xx (touch), 54xx there's usually a 50% off coupon. Amazing all magnesium metal tank build quality, surprisingly fast old 6th-8th intel, 1440p-4k youtube, Upgradable to 16-32gb ram, $50 1 yr warranty, 2.8-4lbs, battery health 85-95%. Gets 16-24hr web low settings, 10 hr youtube.
Its the poor mans macbook air, with 16 hr battery life.
Place a silicone keyboard cover for the kitchen and you good to go.

These $260-400 Frontpage toy laptops by lenovo, gateway, hp break in half with normal use. A grade Intel 12th surrounded by grade C plastic casing. I would never buy solder 8gb ram on a windows if you upgrade you os and load apps. 16gb solder minimum.

Glad to see people reclaim the word retarded. Michael Scott was right.

For Kitchen use I actually need a 2-in-1, seems Dell refurbished barely has 2-in-1 at low price. If you notice a good one, kindly let me know, thanks
