I bought one 2 weeks ago. The 4080 was dead. I read the comments at costco onlinie, it seems someone had same 4080 problem. I called CyberPower support. They said they can replace the 4080 card, but I decided to return it. The package is so heavy Frown

Please, before you purchase the MSI system do yourself a huge favor and watch the review of that computer from Gamers Nexus "MSI Pre-Built Bends SSDs & Boils CPUs at 100°C ($1700 Aegis R Review)". I don't know if linking to YouTube directly is allowed but Google will take you right to it.

I suppose if you've already purchased it, please give thanks to Costco's return policy and make sure you don't throw away the box or anything.

TL;DR This is a modern-day ez-bake oven and it will thermal throttle itself to Sloth levels, and even if it didn't slow down too much heat is not good for the life of parts.

So I bought this exact computer around Christmas as a gift to myself. Only difference is that I bought it for probably $500 more and with a 3090 graphic card. Honestly it works great. I bought it directly from the company. Only because they told me that their computers that are sold from Best buy and Costco are older models but when you buy it from them they put it together and it's all new components. That's what they explain to me so I bought directly from them.

There's not a lot available currently for this price with those specs. It's not all that slick, but it's worth a post.

I built almost this exact system from parts but with an I9 13900, asus z790 and a high-end 4080 (MSI Suprim). What brand you get will be mid-tier at best and what is available (in Amazon's Q&A from the company). They don't specify what kind speed of RAM - Best Buy says for the same model, it's just 4800mhz and I can't really tell what AIO Liquid brand that is...

That being said - this is 200-250 cheaper than other websites for the same model # and overall, this is a pretty decent price for what you will get with the current market for parts. So if you don't want to build your own system - this is a great alternative.

AIO should be CyberPowerPC Bitspower 240mm AIO Liquid, I guess it's this one: https://shop.bitspower.com/index....ct_id=7981
And Case should be NZXT H7 Flow, which is $130.
PSU seems to be Apevia ATX-PR1000W, doesn't look fancy, but maybe okay.

Ahh, but did you add the 5400rpm spinny drive to that multi thousand dollar build? IT really ties the system together.

Yeah CyberpowerPC makes ship whole desktop back at your expense which cost $100+ after insurance better to return it to Costco instead.

Yikes, though I'm not surprised that it's far better to work directly with Costco whenever you can.

I would have bought this when I was shopping around. Built a very similar one, but it's nice to be able to add the premium brands, Seasonic PSU, mobo I like, DDR5 6000, larger coolers, nicer case, etc. It came to about $1,300, and I'm waiting to add a 4090.

Good deal on a serious machine. I do question the 13th gen i7 and DDR5 on a z690 board, though.

This is how I use Cyberpower. I just change the power supply and check the temps in case I need to fix something else. The parts aren't the best but they're still generic enough where you'll get bios or firmware updates unlike if you bought an HP
