TU and Here's an in depth review - https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...ssd-review
The Team Group MP44L SSD is an example of a budget drive done right, offering a solid experience with good power efficiency and no overheating in a single-sided package.
Pros
+
Consistent, all-around above average performance
+
Efficient and cool-running
+
Budget PCIe 4.0 drive done right - simple design
Cons
-
Pricing may need some adjustment in this market
-
Plenty of competition, particularly at 2TB

For those wondering, not fast enough to be used in a ps5

Does not mean it's a bad drive.

It will work fine in a PS5 since it is PCIe 4.0 and doubt you can tell the difference between 4800 vs 5500 MB/s

I have an older computer with 2x PCI Express 2.0 x1 slots. Will this be better than the old SATA SSDs I'm using?

This is designed for an M.2 slot and uses the PCIexpress bus. It won't slot into a PCIe x1 slot that's used for expansions cards, if that's what you mean. Unless you buy a PCIe to M.2 nvme adapter card that'll cost anywhere from $10 - $50 depending on brand and number of devices supported.

That said, these are MUCH faster than SATA SSDs, but if your computer isn't new enough to have the M.2 slot on the board, it's probably not worth the hassle if you're not doing anything demanding like video encoding, photo editing, or gaming.

I bought an MP34 recently and the TBW was very high. I bet if you click the Amazon listing they will tell you all kinds of details about this particular drive.

If I have a pcie3 laptop, then would this drive be good for that since pcie3 isn't going to hit those speeds anyways?

SATA III is actually "faster" in terms of raw throughput then a single Lane PCIe 2.0 slot. There are other advantages to running NVMe cards in terms of latency and queue depth.

Yeah, though you might want to see what a P31 gold is running for.
