For those wondering, this is not wood. It is MDF, a very dense, compacted paper-like material that has many excellent applications... cheap furniture is an unfortunate side effect of its existence. Whether it is painted or wrapped in vinyl, MDF is extremely prone to dents, dings, scratches, gouges, etc. If a fastener hole is damaged, it is done for and has to be glued but even that is no guarantee that it will hold properly.
As a woodworker, I have grown to despise this kind of furniture. It has a place for some, I don't doubt it. Temporary, throw away pieces of furniture can be used for any number of reasons. That being said, I highly encourage people to browse Facebook marketplace, their local Goodwills, local yard sales, and local Habitat ReStore locations to find real wood furniture. You can often find amazing deals on items that will be far more durable and retain a lot more value than this piece can. Just my humble opinion on the matter

500 lbs weight limit?? That's a lot. I am heavy and I tend to plop down and break chairs. This should be able to handle it. Thanks!

I almost went for it but noticed dimensions after reading reviews, definitely small at 15.7"H X 36"W X 11.8"D. One of the reviews has pictures with a cat which gives a good perspective.
