Was just talking about this one. Glad I was waiting for it to go on sale. The low was $839 once according to the camel, but it was a very short time. Hurricane season is coming!

FYI it's not 240v and you can't get 240v in parallel. Also, non CO sensor version is available for $899

I have owned this dual fuel and the variations with gas only and w and w/o CO detection. The best deal was the non co monitor gasoline only electric start with remote for under $550.

LP operation in COLD weather won't work on BBQ cylinders because the cyl and regulator will freeze up. Only a large home tank can supply the vapor pressure required in cold weather.

The non electric start gasoline only model is fine for home back up. Electric remotr is really only useful for for an RV. The engine starts very easily with a single light tug unless stored with old gasoline. It will run all night on one tank.

All electric remote start models require an auto Choke which fails to operate at times. This leads to hard starting and requires you to open the cover to manually open or close the Choke. Some users don't experience the auto Choke failure on electric remote start generators but it is an extra failure point which can be quite frustrating.

CO monitors on generators may save lives of inexperienced users. But they aren't necessary, are a PITA, and do not replace the need to use a CO detector in the habitable space especially in every room used for sleeping when a portable generator is in use. The on board monitor can only detect CO at the front. If the exhaust on the rear allows CO to enter the structure such as in windy conditions, the on board detector is useless. The CO monitor modual has a limited life and are expensive to replace. They make diagnosis of a non start situation extra difficult.
