This is $843 today which is a low price. $782 for the dual fuel wireless remote control version of igen4500 is close to the all time low I paid $900 for mine this past winter. It's the quietest in its class and one of the most fuel efficient. The form factor is appealing. The gasoline only version has been $600 and will run 14 hours on 3.4 gallons which makes it one of the best deals around for that price.

Prices change by the hour at Amazon lately. Coupons are targeted and or they evaporate. This type of marketing doesn't sit well for many.

SD'ers will buy an inferior product to save a few bucks. It takes hands on experience for some to appreciate what the igen4500 has to offer over inverters which are sale priced from $500-$600. Best use is RV and truly portable use. 120 volt generators have limited use for emergency backup power, Many just want a $275 backup generator and they don't care if it burns up their electronics or not.

Not long ago it was difficult to get your hands on a igen4500 dual fuel. They would sell out at Sam's Club and Home Depot within hours for $1200.

At this writing the premium paid to get the dual fuel version is only $120. The differential is usually +$200 or more. $40 more than your posted deal is nothing if you need this generator. Today's price is at a historical low. It's not going to sell for under $775 as a dual fuel.
