I would disagree… spend the extra $10 more and get some quality bits that won't round out after a few uses. I love my Ryobi tools esp for your average dyi homeowner but not their bits

If you are asking that question, then these are fine.

It's really easy to be a bit snob, but for people who want to assemble the occasional store bought desk, hang some picture frames, and put a hole or two in some wood, these are more than adequate.

I got this set last week . It's cheap and it has most bits that a homeowner would need . Will be throwing this in the tool bag when I go out to do repairs

I can understand your opinion but if that's the case if you pay the additional cost for mid to high quality bits then in your scenarios you'd have bits for life

These are absolute trash. I got these for $4 and these are total junk. Got Bosch set from "Lowes" they are way better and paid about $8 (sale)

These are garbage. I've had two Ryobi impact bits explode on me when driving a screw and send little metal shards flying everywhere.

I have a ton of Ryobi tools and love them, but these bits are horrible and actually unsafe.

Not saying these are quality bits, but this set has a wide selection of bits in it that might come in handy. You just never know when you might need a particular non-Phillips bit and a set like this could save you a trip to Home Depot. I have better bit sets, but I bought this set to leave in my car when I need to go out to do little projects.

I concur with the poor quality but good usability in many instances. I tried building a basic 3'x3'x6' stand for my mom using my DeWalt impact. I put it on a lower setting and destroyed like 4 Philips bits doing it. Using a drill will make them last a little longer, but I built a shed, and these are an absolute waste for me. I used Craftsman impact bits and destroyed several of those, too. I have several brand new sets of DeWalt bits now. I'm more likely to lose them than to break them. They're so much better for so little, but I have a tote of power tool accessories and don't even need that much. I got by with the cheap ones in the past, buying Walmart tools that broke, but when I started getting DeWalt, they just last forever and I have multiple sets I didn't need to buy. I bought cheap stuff for my little brother because I didn't think he'd ever use them. Now he does, so I might give him some of my spares.
