Yup. Assholes lured me in with the 2tb for $33 which was great, then find out it's a bait and switch 🙄

The best choice these days may be the Crucial MX500. The Samsung 870 EVO is an option but they were having serious reliability issues. I'm not sure if that's been resolved yet.

Why does the title say 2TB? This looks like a 1TB.

Probably samsung 870 evo is better, due to dram while pny is dramless. pny has a good price.
Price difference is atleast 20$, since lowest I've seen Samsung was $50 to $60. and the nvme ssd 1tb(BB refurb)was even lower in the past month.

This could be just me but I had problems with this drive for the longest while, constant blue screen of death using it as a Windows drive until the desktop PC it was on finally said " nope not doing this anymore".. but it's possible I just got a bad one (though there are a lot of negative amazon reviews that I see for it too)

Personally I'd treat it as a secondary drive you can put files on that aren't that important to you that you could download again if need be to begin with.

$52 costs more but I've had three crucial MX500 drives running as my "C/Windows" drives in three different desktop PC's for years now with no issues (this is the 1 TB version)

I am looking for for a ssd like this but with dram since it will be a boot drive. No m.2 slot. Are there any deals? All the ones I have seen are for NVMe.

It's been resolved with software updates. But still.. Should knocked them down a tier or 2. Shouldn't be considered the best ssd with that many fck ups.

Never heard of this site. Reliable?
Have you ordered there before?
How long was shipping time?

These prices are getting absurd!

If you have an extra PCIe x8 or x16 slot get a NVMe card / adapter and install a NVMe SSD in your machine. It's so much faster than using a NGFF or SATA SSD.

Yes, they are legit. It takes a little longer to get an item, like a week more than most places. I just bought from them and used PayPal just incase I had to dispute it. I ended up getting what I ordered without any problem. The items came in a retail box and was packed nicely. I would recommend this company!
FYI, Amazon and Best Buy are selling these drives right now for $36.99 if you feel safer ordering from these companies instead.

That can be good idea, but people should make sure their boards BIOS can boot to a PCIe NVMe card. Thats not always the case. Older boards don't all support boot to PCIe AIC as it requires a NVMe driver in the BIOS. And if you don't have M2 slots on the board then its likely an old board.
