I hate to hear claims like this. Are you personally testing these av solutions? How was your testing with crowdstrike, sentinelone, traps, harmony?
I found this comment curious too. Though one time I was sitting without an antivirus for a few months (could not spot a good deal on a good AV) and it was alright.., you just don't go to certain sites you don't want to visit without an AV.

What I also find curious is people recommend nowadays not to even trust OEM Windows itself, e.g.:

(I bought one of those popular new cheap $100+ N100 3.4GHz chip machines to connect to my laser projector (and run everything you can run from a PC, not just TV apps), but many in that thread are mentioning that from unknown PC makers from China even Windows can come compromised, and they discuss there how to download an official Windows image from MS and install it over the one that comes with the PС itself (OEM), so not to take a chance. I bought a similar PC to the one posted in that OP and seriously considering to install an image from Microsoft over the one that came with the cheap Intel N100 machine). ...Maybe also paranoia, LOL

I'm not sure how great their home product is, but by the reviews (real reviews, not SD reviews), they seem pretty good. But from personal experience, their business endpoint product can be a pain in the @ss.

So you trust communist Russia more than Democratic countries. Here is another example of having it too good in the US and saying dumb things. In Russia you will be wiped off of this earth and no one would ever know what happened to you.
We're not in Russia. Having it too good here in the US? They have your mind by the short hairs here in the US, that obvious. They can have you wiped off the earth here in the US and no one will ever know what happened too. You've got some reading to do. Just because your political party says it so, doesn't make it so.

Can't agree more. Some Americans, especially young people are just too simple and naive to believe communism is better than democracy.

In North Korea, Russia, and China, the authority can make you disappear just because you say something they don't like.

If you searching for what's happened to one of China's talk show actors last week, you will know there is NO joke in CHINA.

Paranoia apart, if I buy 2 of these, can I use one next year to renew? I've done that with a McAfee CD I got from Walmart on a deal, just used the new key instead of renewal.

Usually the 2nd one detects the first and asks to uninstall the first. But there might be some that may work together. Not recommended coz it can slow down the pc.

Once again if the USA is that bad from all the books you've read. Why are you still here? Mother Russia would love to have you. They are looking for people to send to Ukraine right now. No place is perfect, but there are degrees of separation.

If you are a nobody with no goals of being anything important in life, then you can take the risk of running this piece of malware. If on the other hand you are somebody, plan or have family members who could become important members of society, then don't. You would never know, but they could build a nice blackmail file on you based on the scanning of all the files and websites you use in your computer. They have done it in the past, just read up on how they got the US hacking tools. Because some idiot used this antivirus and did work on his home computer. .

You gotta know that Russia isn't communist, right? Like they don't even pretend to be communist how China pretends to be communist.
They're as far from communist as we are
um the tax rate is like 12% over there, total.

we're far closer on the communist scale if you consider all the $ sucked out for Property Tax, Income Tax, State Tax, Medicare, SS Tax, MUD (usually if your house is in new construction/less than 30 yrs).

Karl Mark idea of communism is not evil , its the way communism was implemented by countries like the USSR, China , Cuba etc that was evil
