I saw this and was tempted.

I really want the 2730 Fuel version even though that one is 6.5 inch blade since it's much lighter weight. Waiting for a sale on that one as the lowest price I can find for a new one is $170.

Worth it to get this one or wait for 2730?

I think this is a good deal if you have a project in a few weeks. When the 2730 is on sale again, it should be not difficult to sell this on Craigslist.

I've been waiting for a deal on this specific circular saw and this is the best I've seen. For an amateur DIYer already on the M18 platform, this is fantastic.

Not sure if it matters to you, but the saw in this deal is blade right and the 6-1/2" one is blade left. Some people have very strong feelings about which side the blade should be on.

I'd get the Octane or Fuel versions ... these tend to bog down or bind on lumber.

Octanes do require the Octane battery for the extra output tho.

I believe in the past you would have the tool and battery setup to pickup at different stores or delivery and never pickup the battery. When you add the tool and battery to the cart it gives you a message that you must have the store/delivery set to the same place. Is there a new way to get this hack to work?
