Wait for Intel's Instant Pho in the Fall. This stuff is already out of date.

Could you guys stop with the "authentic" or "real pho" comparisons? Where does it say authentic? This is instant pho. That's like people comparing maruchan instant cup noodles to "real ramen" from japan. Every single thread for this product is the same comments. Don't compare to your homemade or restaurant pho that cost you $12-$15 because this is less than $2 bucks each. Yes, it will be bland and boring if you don't spice it up with chicken/beef, hoisin sauce/sriracha. If you're not creative enough to spice it up, that's not our problem. Smilie
Funny you should mention Maruchan, their Japanese market ramen is actually really good and has really good ingredients.

https://www.amazon.com/Maruchan-J...B009Q2YM7A

Broth ingredients: Chicken fat, chicken extract, dried bonito extract, hydrolyzate, sugar, spices, etc.

Certainly not quite homemade but doesn't seem like a joke in comparison to the real thing.

Not too bad if you want something light and blend. If you can handle a bit of spice and want flavor, I'd still stick with Nongshim Shin/etc... The Korean chemists appears to be superior in crafting more flavorful spice packs.

Vietnamese person here. Honestly, it's not that bad. I bought it from Costco out of pure curiosity because it was on sale and I see so many people buying it. Is it good like pho from the store or homemade? No. But I've had way worse tasting instant pho from the baggies at the Vietnamese grocery store. Having said that, I wouldn't buy it again.

The label literally says authentic pho

Instant ramen tastes exactly like how instant ramen supposed to taste, it's in a category all by itself and they never say tastes like authentic Japanese ramen

Pisspoor comparison

I add some fried tofu with fish balls. It's tasty for me! (I'm Chinese and I think it tastes fine)

I disagree that this tasted awful, and I like to buy mystery things from the Asian store. For something I found in Sam's Club claiming to be inspired by some Asian cuisine, it was actually surprisingly adequate. Adding smoked salmon to the finished soup made it way better, too. Try it!
