So i don't know if this is just a fluke, but i have both had and been around others eating pho and have never had this experience before, this stuff smelled like cat pee so strongly that while it was sitting after heating, i searched my entire apartment to see where my cat had had an accident before i realized the source. Our apartment stunk for hours. It tasted ok, but i have no idea what was causing this smell.

Costco sells this. It has some sort of pho smell just 10x stronger and tastes like some artificial crap

I honestly eat restaurant Pho 3x week, double meat double noodle. I sit with owners and discuss the broth as that's the key. They appreciate my knowledge/feedback and sit at the table the whole time.

This is without a doubt the packaged one that tastes closest to the real deal. That "Stinky oil" is the key to its awesomeness and has to be added when hot then absorbed by the noodles a couple minutes. I don't think the "Yucky" crowd normally eats Pho. The Beef one is best.

Use beef broth (bone broth best) not water for beef, chicken broth for chicken. Don't mix.

Enjoy

I agree. For instant soup, it's not bad.
