FWIW I bought several of these through Walgreens and CVS around the same time. The prints (and online interface to make them) is identical however the framing is completely different. The Walgreens version has a much better system where the frame, hangers, etc is attached to the final print whereas the CVS model is the frame then the back part is just a piece of thin dark cardboard glued to the print. The hangers are also about useless as you can only use tiny tack nails (dollar store picture frame quality). The Walgreens version has better hangers that work with 3M hooks, screws, nails and have serrations so you can level the picture by moving it slightly left and right.
Also, all 4 of the CVS ones I bought have detached suddenly from the back part to crash into the floor. Some the first week, others 6 months later. Always at 3AM Luckily nothing was damaged but I ended up using better glue to stop this pattern. The Walgreens model being a single piece between the frame and hangers could survive a meteor strike.

Again, from the front both look the same.

I've also had issues with the CVS canvases detaching from the cardboard, a few staples from a staple gun works great to keep it together. The frame is thick enough that you don't really need to worry about the staple coming through to the front side.
Yeah, I think most people assumed a conventional canvas stretched over a wooden frame. That's actually $49 list, which comes out to $10 with coupon. But CVS also offers a "hanging canvas" which resembles a scroll. Basically, it's just a loose canvas with no frame that hangs.
My guess is that a lot of people didn't realize that the hanging canvas was also on sale. When the coupon was posted, the CVS webpage merely said "Hanging Canvas." Now they specify "11x14 Hanging Canvas." In fact, when I called them, the rep didn't know about the hanging canvas either.
In summary: $10 for the normal canvas and $8 for the hanging canvas. I would pay $2 more for the frame unless it's a very temporary setup, e.g. a dorm, where packing the scroll for moving is much easier. Or if you need to mail it.
