It's the same price on Samsung's website. If you qualify for an EPP discount, it's $99.

COVID definitely made the last few years fly by, but feeling like I just got a deal back in 2019 for a $100 EVO 1TB, it's great to see the 2TB at the same price point just four years later. Hoping this trend continues to speed up and get better for consumer electronics.

Does this particular model have more problems than other EVO? I couldn't find much so far, but the price makes me second guess it. (Have 3 machines with smaller samsung drives)

if you're adding to a desktop you might as well be getting nvme pci-e adapters and using nvme drives

These ones are the one's to buy. i think the QVO's were the one's that had issues with some hardware/software on newer computers until samsung flashed the firmware. i still have a 500gb from when it first came out still chugging along in daily use and a business i use to work for still uses the 256gb one's since first introduced and it's still running till this day.

any advantage in buying from one merchant over another? amazon vs samsung, say. seems like a lot of samsung sd cards on amazon are fake and it's better to buy directly from samsung. is it the same case with these drives?
