If this camera does not use WiFi then how does my phone get notified? Also, does the CD Card have to be pulled to get to see the images?
Uses an AT&T or TMobile SIM card. You need to pay monthly. Meh.
Suitable only for places not reachable by Wifi. With AT&T, you'll be lucky to have any signal in the boonies. And T-Mobile doesn't serve many rural areas or even states.

Conceptually its a good idea but practically its a bad idea. I am assuming its still wired and you need AC power.
Before TMO came out with home internet, I got a NetGear cellular modem and connected it to an budget router then connected 5 Wyze cams and secured a renovation property that way. You can get a lot more coverage rather then on SIM card per cam which is stupid.
Cellular cameras are great for when you want to be independent from power outages. I have cameras around my house but they're useless when the power goes out which happened once while I was on vacation. Having one cellular camera powered by solar helps keep some peace of mind
Warranty is non-existent.
If the product is broken, the customer service wants you to send them all kind of information including videos and the customer service says they can only generously give you 15% off coupon which can only be applied to one full price item. Who buys Eufy cam full price?
Also, Eufy security cam 'stored unique ID' of everyone filmed without consent.
The company said they fixed it but this was not reliable.

Proof, please. Or are you simply repeating hearsay?
Meanwhile: "For quality-related warranty claims, items will be replaced with suitable replacement parts or a factory refurbished model of equal value when available, otherwise a new item will be sent."

This doesn't work with T-Mobile or AT&T, don't even think about buying it. It's locked to their own carrier.

What proofs do you need? Eufy did not answers questions like below when group of users asked.
Also, I recently contacted Eufy customer service and it was the worst experience. I simply returned them to Costco
Why do your supposedly end-to-end encrypted cameras produce unencrypted streams at all?
Under what circumstances is video actually encrypted?
Do any other parts of Eufy's service rely on unencrypted streams, such as Eufy's desktop web portal?
How long is an unencrypted stream accessible?
Are there any Eufy camera models that do not transmit unencrypted streams?
Will Eufy completely disable the transmission of unencrypted streams? When? How? If not, why not?
If not, will Eufy disclose to its customers that their streams are not actually always end to end encrypted? When and where?
Has Eufy changed the stream URLs to something more difficult to reverse engineer? If not, will Eufy do so? When?
Are unencrypted streams still accessible when cameras use HomeKit Secure Video?
Is it true that "ZXSecurity17Cam@" is an actual encryption key? If not, why did that appear in your code labeled as an encryption key and appear in a GitHub repo from 2019?
Beyond the thumbnails and the unencrypted streams, are there any other private data or identifying elements that Eufy's cameras allow access to via the cloud?
Beyond potentially tapping into an unencrypted stream, are there any other things that Eufy's servers can remotely tell a camera to do?
What keeps Eufy and Anker employees from tapping into these streams?
Which other specific measures will Eufy take to address its security and reassure customers?
Has Anker retained any independent security firms to conduct an audit of its practices following these disclosures? Which?
Will Anker be offering refunds to those customers who bought cameras based on Eufy's privacy commitment?
Why did Anker tell The Verge that it was not possible to view the unencrypted stream in an app like VLC?
Does eufy share video recordings with law enforcement agencies?

Quite the conspiracy theorist, aren't you?
Feel free to buy Ring, Google, Blink, or Simplisafe. Ring provides customers' video to law enforcement without a warrant or notification; users sign their 4th Amendment rights away to Amazon for this. The other 3 allow that in their T&C. With the doorbell and other connected cameras, the only thing stored on Eufy's servers, if you don't pay for live monitoring, are encrypted stills of people for person-ID purposes to make that function work.
And the others can certainly watch your streams, too, if they so wished.
I guess your only answer for you is to sit on your front porch with a pitbull and shotgun.

The Verge did a piece on this where questions like this were not adequately addressed by Eufy. Go read it and judge for yourself. That being said, I have a bunch of Eufy cameras myself, and have not found a better no-subscription option. But I don't use them in living areas.
