Very good deal for that price. At that price it becomes an attractive project bike the way the Schwinn Axum was. A down side to this bike is it uses a freewheel vs freehub so any meaningful upgrades to the drivetrain will probably require a new rear wheel. Then again, at this price you could get a new rear wheel and still be in cheap budget territory. Even in stock form I bet this would be a fun bike.

May not come with clutch rear derailleur per reviews (apparently were numerous metal failures with Pro Rush due to pot metal they used, watch YouTube) and has rare 141 QR boost rear spacing, not 135 QR. To replace the rear wheel for cassette hub is somewhat expensive. TA 12 148 works with QR end caps, or a rare 141 QR boost hub. Shimano MT200-B hub fits for example. Rear max size tire is about 2.3" (2.6" doesn't fit). Got one as a project bike. Will ride on the original group set this summer, then will upgrade. Low price makes replacing the rear wheel and using Advent X a good option after using it for whole summer

I bought a couple of Schwinn bikes almost 5 years ago, both broke down after about 2.5 years. Before throwing them away I saw "lifetime warranty" on them. So I emailed them and got 2 bikes replaced, they only asked their ids (on the bottom on frames) and photos. So in terms of quality I wouldn't recommend them, but service is amazing.

Just out of curiosity what kind of part failures caused such catastrophic results?

They ask photo of the bike or photo of the id?

Anywhere still in stock that ships? Feel like I've tried the whole country.. Missed the axum deal and this seems perfect for my dad who is still riding a rusted out HyperX with destroyed shifters, brakes, suspension, and wheels.
