Garage ready?
Can someone explain what garage ready means? Is it mean there is something extra to withstand garage heat?

Homes and basements don't get outside hot or cold. Garages get the full range of Mother Nature. If the appliance isn't designed for the full range it's not going to fare well.

So you're saying those that are Garage Ready have beefed up parts and such? And if it is Garage Ready, the manufacturer will clearly state? Thought that was a marketing thing but perhaps not. Im looking at a stand up freezer from Sams - good price but does not sau Garage Ready so a little concerned on having it in garage.

Not sure what is behind the phrase "garage ready" but I know generally if a condenser tries to turn on below 60f, it will stress the system. At least this is what I've heard for AC units

I would imagine it's the compressor and the insulation.

In the specs, it should say something about ideal operating temps, or maybe a temp range (min and max). If your garage is consistently outside that range then you might run into issues. Maybe even void the warranty?

Yes the min / max temp range is a good indicator. Thus the one I was looking at sam's is not a good fit for me.
