I'm not sure bout the guy. But it has malitol which I think messes with the gut.

As far as aspartame goes, it messes with your head actually. It gives a lot of people headaches, sometimes severe. Overall it's really controversial. It's fine for some people, others it effects a lot.

Me personally it gives me a headache. One that feels like the ones I get at times when I'm severely dehydrated

These prices are ok if you need gum now, but I get this gum frequently and have gotten it for $11 and under without coupons recently (through S&S). The prices do fluctuate frequently though. Another good tip is to get the refill bags when on sale and keep these jars. Works out to be less if you get a good deal on them. I got a 4 pack of 120 for $9 on amazon the other day.
