I hesitate to post this because I know this might not be what most people are looking for when searching for a chromebook or laptop, but this was exactly what I was looking for and maybe there is someone else in the same boat.
I actually bought two of these, the first one came like new, I ordered a second a few days ago which hasn't been delivered yet, but expecting the same quality. Screen is not very bright but its fine for me because it has the matte finish which seems harder to find now-a-days and something I prefer. It is also heavy, but I am willing to live with it because it has good ventilation. I am coming from an Acer spin 713 which recently had a hardware issue which I believe was caused by over heating even though it has a fan...idk, it was fine but definitely not $300+ better than this dell. Keyboard has a nice feel, mousepad has buttons instead of push to click, a little weird but for the price I can't complain, so far very happy with this purchase.

After a decade of using primarily Acer Chromebooks, I recently bought a refurbished Latitude 5490 Windows laptop for $130 with the intention of experimenting with Linux. The screen and build quality are not the greatest, but for < $200 it's a great value. Assuming it's a comparable laptop, I would recommend this deal for anyone in market for a solid refurb Chromebook.

Doing comparisons fan size and heatsink they are smaller than the 5491 (prior model) but the processors run hotter... not sure WTF the engineers where doing there
