This seems to leak easily in transit, and that poor seal makes me question the safety of the contents. Has happened to me twice on their pesto.

Add me to the list of people who have had this pesto leak and/or have the safety seal pop in transit from Amazon. In one package alone, I lost two of five jars.

They list that price as "Typical" not market.
This is determined using the 90-day median price paid by customers for the product on Amazon. And exclude prices paid by customers for the product during a limited time deal.

I thought I was done ordering glass jars from Amazon but recently we've been getting the stuff delivered by an Amazon driver rather than UPS, so I ordered one to see if it survives.

Amazon's packaging is usually AWFUL for glass, but I'm hoping if it's coming on an Amazon truck that means it hasn't gotten all the movement from going through UPS's system.

We'll see.

Amazon wont ship things that can freeze if the weather is cold
That could be why some leak
Most lids on these pasta jars open in just a few twists and there isn't a lot of expansion room.
They will also delay candies, chocolates if its very hot.
Amazon delayed my Reese's cups the whole summer last year
If it is 90F outside a truck or van can easily be 130F

For anyone near a WinCo, this brand is currently on sale for $2.54 near us (SoCal) including the regular pesto and tomato pesto varieties. It seems to go on sale for this price pretty regularly.
