There's always a bunch of people like you in every phone post claiming the lack expandable storage as a big issue. It only affects the most fringe group; the overwhelming majority of people dont care about the lack of expandable storage and are barely affected by it, yet people like you parade your opinion around as fact. Get off your high horse.

Why that far back? S20 series that were released in 2019 had it and Note 20 Ultra that came out at the end of 2020 as well. I'm not bothered much for them to take it away as much by how much they charge now to go up even by one storage level higher, it's very clear rip off if you consider how much external storage options cost right now.

I'm not sure what you're talking about but I own both the Fold4 and iPhone Pro Max and the Fold 4 completely destroys it in just about everything except battery life. The battery life is my only complaint.

In fact, I think the fold 3 trade value at places like gazelle and the like is now really really low, like in the $300 range.

How difficult or shady is Google with these kind of promos? Do they look for reasons to deny or chargeback the $1000? Will I have any issues if I buy a Boost mobile number on eBay and use it to port into Fi?

They have a countdown in the FI app and once you're past that period it's all yours. I had no issues personally. Easy process as long as you meet their minimum months requirement

They can get shady. I traded in my pixel 3 for a pixel 7 last year and instead of giving me the trade in amount they valued my trade in at $0 because of a "swollen battery" on the pixel 3. Fortunately, I had taken pictures of my old phone before sending it in and I was able to argue with the customer service techs that they owed me the full amount. They made it sound like they were doing me a favor as a "one time only" deal but in my view they were just caught lying and didn't want to admit it. Now this exchange was with google store and not technically google fi but I have to believe that Google is not stupid enough to use two different teams/vendors.

Word of advice if you care about those videos back them up on PC, external storage, nas, all of the above.

When your phone dies, and that goes happen a lot of times with no warning. All can be lost.

Never trust a single device, single service to hold your data indefinitely.
