Isn't eufy the company that was caught lying about peoples privacy and their cameras? Feels sketch to use their app.
This was blown out of proportion. The flaw had a minimal to no risk of others getting access to your camera. The big issues was how they handled it and the lies.

Big Eufy fan. Own a 25c bounce around for pet hair, love it. Anyone know how this one compares for suction, noise, etc. to the 25c? (I am aware of bounce around vs. pattern vac.)

We've had ours for 6 months and our experience has been negative. It's low profile footprint is actually a drawback as it gets stuck under every couch we own [LazyBoy reclining sofa and Havertys sectional]. Additionally, it has trouble getting back home upon finishing if it's beyond a 10ft radius of the base. Suction/cleaning is just OK. Our 4 year Ecovacs Deebot runs circles around this thing. It won't go under furniture but it won't get stuck either and cleans ~50% better than the G32 Pro. Had actually opened a return on it but kept it around during a move and regret I had.

It's a bummer too cause we have Eufy Security products and they work great. Really wanted this to work as well but it's a dud.

Ours is awesome, but the battery (on a brand new unit) only lasted 5 months. They are shipping us a new one under warranty. I'd watch out on a refurbished if it doesn't have at least a 5 month warranty.
It comes with a 2-year Allstate warranty for U.S. buyers. I'm in for one for our second floor. I'm tired of dragging my Roborock E4 upstairs. And it has the same style of navigation, which is a plus as far as I'm concerned. I'm done with Lidar models, prone to failure beasts that they are.

I bought one new during BF for I think $68, and it's been worth it. My praying mantis loves to ride on it and hasn't been sucked up yet.

You will have to empty the bin after each use, pick out the hair from the roller after each use, and rinse the filter once in a while.

It will also suck up small rugs and get itself stuck. It will also sometimes find its way into a spot and take forever to get back out. It's a persistent little beast. We have to put up something to keep it from going in the kitchen, and it can't be anything too lightweight or it'll bulldoze right thru it.

Bought the 25C at this price when it was on FP last month. Love it so far. Does a great job cleaning and returning to its base when done.
Wondering if it's worth the hassle to return it and buy this one...

These little things are pretty tough. I got a G30 Edge and it got caught under my 50lb coffee table. I guess it managed to slip under a part and then the next tile was a little higher. It picked that table up and rotated it until the table hit something else and and couldn't move anymore. That's when it started calling for help.

That particular one has passed on, but I have 3 of her offspring that are now big enough to try it. I will definitely have to get some video this time, maybe today, and I'll post a link.

EEK! I'd rather use manual vacuum than have to empty a robovac and pull hair out of the rollers after each use.

Sure. I used to own a Neato vacuum with Lidar. The Lidar quit working after 2 to 3 years. Though I tried all the suggested fixes, including a new motor and belt, I finally gave up. But I really liked the vacuum, so I got another. The same issue with the Lidar happened all over again. No more.

I bought a Roborock E4 in June 2020. It has an electronic version of a gyroscope. A MEMS chip. This enables it to makes back and forth, overlapping S-patterns. The same pattern as the Neato's Lidar, but without all the mechanical issues.

Once my E4 detects a wall, it will slow down just before the wall on its return. Once it touches the wall, it moves over 90 degrees, then turns another 90 degrees to go to the opposite wall, slightly overlapping its original path. It does this for all obstacles to runs across. Cheap, efficient movement, and reliable.
