IMO this is the entry level price. Free rear speaker. Yes, you can build a much more capable system for less. Yes, it will probably last longer than this since standard hardware isn't reliant on software updates. No, standard hardware won't have the software connectivity this does, but if sound is important to you, don't believe the hype of these devices

The Arc only has one HDMI port, so no pass-through at all. It's designed to use eARC.
IMO this is the entry level price. Free rear speaker. Yes, you can build a much more capable system for less. Yes, it will probably last longer than this since standard hardware isn't reliant on software updates. No, standard hardware won't have the software connectivity this does, but if sound is important to you, don't believe the hype of these devices

I have this same Sonos setup with v1 sub and ones with LG oled and there is zero audio delay; after all it directly connects to eARC.
