I was on a cruise ship… We befriended many workers and got to know a bit about them, about their countries and their families back home. I noticed the workers were using cheap phones including flip phones. I was using an iPhone 11 and felt like I was the luckiest person on Earth.

I'd highly recommend waiting for the 15 Pro Max as it will get USB C, the 3NM processor which will have a massive efficiency boost(largest in a long time), a first ever periscope lens on iPhone, and a programmable action button.

If you instead just want the best deal, generally I'd just say get the 13 Pro Max instead. The main differences are the dynamic island which is kind of gimmicky, the always on display which most people turn off due to massive battery drain and then the front facing camera upgrade. Besides the camera upgrade for selfies I don't think it's worth it at all to get the 14 Pro Max.

Periscope is skipped until 16 series. But agree on skipping this. First generation anything wont be perfect , so wait for 16 is anyone can

If you want the latest, I highly recommend waiting for iPhone 16 Pro Max which is getting released in a few months. It will not even have a USB-C port and will be wireless charging only. 😝
