I just saw that too.
I didn't realize when I posted that it was third party as the delivery was guaranteed for tomorrow...I just assumed it was amazon. I'm still scheduled to get a few by tomorrow.

The third party seller - Sold by: Aserson - has a 100% positive rating - over 13k four or five star ratings - so I feel a bit better about that. $3.40 is still not a bad price if someone needs a quick box to do a quick painting project.

For a similar price per disc but MUCH better value, check out 3m 710W. These jumped in price after a bunch of tests showed this being one of the fastest, as well as best options as far as cost per amount of material removed... but just down a bit recently.

If you haven't tried the mesh sanding pads, I suggest you do. They are much better than these old style paper pads.

Agree with this. The mesh pads that 3M sells are better for sanding things like fine furniture items with an orbital sander. If I'm going to stain furniture, I actually won't use these old-style pads on any parts that will be visible. Its either the mesh pads or sanding by hand with a sanding block.
