Good price for high quality but…

Harbor Freight's 6" for $7, 8" for $9, and such at regular prices work well too. Plus, you can get these 25% multiple times each year
That is a clearance item and only 4 stores in the country have it in stock.

Notes From the Manufacturer (per the product page):
The IRWIN 6" C-Clamp 100 Series has many improvements over the competitions. The handle is bigger which makes it 25% easier to apply torque. This feature will reduce hand fatigue and make it easier to apply force. The double threaded screw allows you to create 50% more pressure than the nearest competitor. This will reduce hand fatigue and make it easier to apply force. The double threaded screw will give you 50% less screw deflection which will save you time by reducing drift.

The HF clamps may be ok for light work but definitely not the same as Irwin. I normally use Irwin squeeze-type clamps and recently needed few extra for a project, so I bought two from HF since they basically looked the same. They were a pain to work with. First, the bar bends under pressure rather than remaining rigid, so I couldn't clamp very hard. The clamping points left weird, permanent oily marks on the material I was working on (wood). And every time I'd release the clamp, they'd slide ALL the way apart, really hard, rather than just gently releasing. It was all so annoying I returned them. Gonna spend the extra on Irwin next time.

I bought some of these Irwin clamps from Lowe's a few years back. I would call them low quality budget clamps. For lighter duty use they will be fine but not much more.

Agreed the HF squeeze clamps are toy quality and slip a lot. However I have a drawer full of HF C-clamps and they work great, including the HF 6" size. The HF C-clamps are actually an example of where HF excels in price and performance.
