For anyone comparing these 84t ratects to the 90/120 or Icon, Gearwrench changed the design because the 84t heads are the exact casting of the Matco ratchets and will accept the Matco rebuild kits which have a much better reputation

Gear wrench makes the best ratchets. Project Farm has YouTube videos comparing all the ratchets, including high dollar ones like snap On. GW beat them all. I have drawers full of GW and craftsman already. Otherwise, I will bite. The only thing is that they don't have easy release.

Yeah, that's it. According to camelcamelcamel (price tracker site), the average price overall is $115.66. I don't know where Amazon is getting that $101.90 price since it's never dropped below $110 in the last month.

GearWrench is a good brand with, as mentioned, repair parts available and a good warranty. This set is for the more serious user who doesn't want to go to the more expensive tool truck brands.
For the past few years, the set has not been lower except for one day when it was $6 less. With things going up everywhere, we probably won't see that again.

not true median price of $101 in the past 90 days. If the price wouldve been what you say for several weeks the median price would be much higher. Median price takes everyday price in the past 90 days adds it and divides it by 90. Numbers dont lie

The "was" price on Amazon is the somewhat imaginary one. In this case that number represents the 90-day average price that people paid, not the actual price that this item was listed for in the recent past. For that info, the camels that the OP referenced are probably the best source and they show that the price just dropped from $113.

Oh my bad, I thought it was a 30 day average so didn't understand where that number was coming from. Still, I'm not lying about the price being what it was for the past month. Look at the camelcamelcamel tracker if you want.

I'm pretty sure Icon doesn't do locking flex heads except for their little 1/4" bit ratchet. From what I've seen online, they're comparable in quality. Obviously, if there's a problem Icon is a lot easier to replace.

I don't care what naysayers say about this. 80 is a great price for this. These things are pretty well built and we abuse heck outta these things. I would've preffered 90T version, but for half the price of that I'd bite
