I have samples of Aventus and it is a very nice scent, but it's one of few that I've found where the cheapo dupe (Armaf Club de Nuit Intense) is 99% as good, and that's $30 for 200ml. More power to people who want the real stuff, but for those that just want the fresh scent, I'd be hard to justify paying 8-10x for 1/2 the amount

I haven't tried Creed, but folks say L'Aventure is pretty close to it. I've bought this a few times and have gotten compliments on it:

The link I previously posted is shipped and sold by Amazon.com. For a $33 bottle of cologne I don't think anyone's going to go out of there way to clone it.

They are two very different scents. Cdnim (Aventus) is citrusy fresh and dries down woody. Sillage (Silver Mountain) is a mild scent featuring tea. They are both really good, but very different. The website fragrantica has a lot of information on both the original the the dupes.

Armat Club de Nuit Intense Limited Edition is supposed to be very good. I have the regular EDP and it's pretty good, but the LE is supposed to be better. I bought the original Creed from Costco during their last sale and it smelled very close to the Armaf, but didn't last as long. The Armaf wasn't as smooth, but for a fraction of the cost, it was the right version for me. I'll pick up the Armaf LE when I run out of the EDP. I ended up returning the genuine Creed.
How long a fragrance lasts also depends on the person's skin it's being applied to. I hope people understand that. It's not meant to be sprayed on your clothes. It's meant to go directly on the skin. My wife loves aventus on me and it lasts easily through a day into the next morning. I use two half sprays on my upper chest on the left and right side. Have tried several creed scents but aventus is my daily wear. Never bought it from Costco though.

Got this on the last Costco sale without smelling at Nordstrom/etc. I typically go for spicy, warm scents, and am by no means a scent expert. I do actually quite like the scent, despite it being very far off of what I usually will buy myself. However, I was stunned by the incredibly short staying power. Two sprays on the neck before leaving the house, and by the time I made a 20 minute drive and a walk across a windy parking lot, my friend couldn't smell it even with a hug inside the restaurant. Very disappointing for something so pricy, especially when I have much cheaper scents that I spray in the morning and can still smell on my clothes when I take them off at the end of the day.

Agreed, performance and to a degree the way a fragrance smells depends on skin chemistry. My performance comparison was based on my personal experience with both on my skin.

If you like the scent, try Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Limited Edition. It's much cheaper and the performance should be much better. On my skin, the Armaf EDP lasts a lot longer than Aventus. The Limited Edition is supposedly smoother and better performing.

I'm about half way through the bottle i bought last sale. It's decent. I don't think I'd buy it again though. Can do better and get more compliments cheaper.

Hard pass on this expensive scented water Aventus. GIT and SMW might be worth getting.

Get CDNIM EDT/EDP/PARFUM/LE, Al Haramain L' aventure instead. You want similar style but with better quality Mancera Cedrat Boise, Afnan Not Only Intense.

GIT - Armaf Tres Nuit, Rasasi Egra, Al Haramain L'aventure Knight

SMW - Armaf Sillage, Rasasi Al Wisam Day
