For those with an Ace Hardware nearby, can get it for $15 and save a couple bucks.

As an electrician I had high hopes with these, theyre awful. They struggle with stranded wire , and the cutting of conductors is a struggle. These are left in the "spare" bag, regret buying them

I do like Milwaukee and prefer them but these need a re-design

I'm not happy with these. They seem to really struggle with stranded wire, both stripping and cutting. Maybe I got a bum pair, but that's just my experience.

Solid is fine.

Even if nearby, paying $2 extra you get Home Depot free shipping. Seems the better deal than spending time to go into Ace Hardware just for these.
(also free shipped from ACE, IF total over $50 and Ace Rewards member.)

I love me some knips but not for the price difference and replacement ease if they break. I'd rather a few of these. Now pliers are a different story.

Depends if you make your living with these or not IMO. I'm a weekend warrior and can't justify the spend - but if I was in the electrical trade I might be able to justify the higher price of the Knipex.
